The pin markers show my home in Thaxton, Cahas Mtn. Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway which is the official observing site of the Roanoke Valley Astronomical Society, and Sunset Field Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway which is the observing site of the Blue Ridge Astronomy Club.
I've included Lake Moomaw because it is 7 miles from my father-in-law's house and also the Greenbank Radio Observatory in West Virginia, which is in the darkest area around that is about 75 miles from my house and within easy driving distance.
