ORION - THE HUNTER
The constellation Orion is a very prominent Winter constellation that lies approximately 1500
light years away. The red areas are star forming regions called nebula.
This image is a composite of two long exposure film images I took, a 30 min. and a 45 minute, manually guided exposure. They were taken with a Nikon FE2 camera and a 55mm Nikon lens at f4 using Kodak Elite Chrome 200 slide film. Processed entirely by Juan Conejero at Pleides Astrophoto using PixInsight Standard.
